Dr. Jimi Adejokun was a visiting scholar at St. Augustine's College. He graduated from Howard University in 1983 with a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in International Affairs from the famed School of International Service at the American University. He received his doctorate in Political Science from Howard University where he was a Teaching Associate during his studies.
Dr. Adejokun taught at the Public Schools for several years, both in Washington, D.C, and Prince George's County, a Washington, D.C., suburb. At the college level he taught at Howard University, Shaw University, University of Evansville and St. Augustine's College.
He is a professor who actively gets involved in student activities. He has proven his commitment by establishing Students in Free Enterprise at Shaw University and St. Augustine's College. Dr. Adejokun has authored articles and also contributed chapters to published texts. He is a student of Foreign Policy, International Political Economy, International Relations and Political Theory. Dr. Adejokun was awarded the "Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise" Fellowship for the years 2002 and 2005.
He is currently the President/CEO of CITA International, U.S.A., and President and Founder of Saint Beatrice Heart for the World, a non-profit organization. Dr. Adejokun is married to June, a medical doctor, with three children Mojade, Joshua, and Samuel.
